E-meet the BinHexS People: Welcome to Giacomo Cribiù!

Giacomo joined the company a few weeks ago as Head of the BinHexS Project Management department, our delivery area that is responsible for coordinating all project-based activities requested by Clients, such as global rollouts, corporate relocations, and new store or office startups. Let’s find out what the main functions of the PM department are through the vision of Giacomo…his word!

What is your name and age?

G: “Giacomo Cribiù, age 34, class of 1989.

How many people are in your team?

G: “Right now there are 4 people plus me, so 5 total.

What are the challenges of your new role?

G: “Definitely to bring my added value to the project management team, which becomes an increasingly central ‘body’ in the company and in communication with all departments. My previous work experience will be made available to BinHexS to bring all the different business areas closer together. Another challenge is to take possession and master the whole portfolio of services that BinHexS provides, for example, the retail part is a new area for me. It will be my responsibility to make the project department a quality guarantor.

What do you like most about your job as a PM?

G: “I like my job because it puts me directly in the company’s strategy and allows me to grow my skills in other areas as well, which in the future I would like to turn into the opportunity to aspire to a more complete and different role.”

A virtue and a flaw of yours at work?

G: “Flaw: I am not very patient with myself, for example, right now, having just joined the company in the role of IT Project Team Manager, thus as the head of the project department, I am in fact the figurehead but I am in a know-how acquisition phase with respect to all business processes and ongoing activities. This leads me to be impatient and ‘hungry’ to make myself 100% useful and operational for my group as quickly as possible.”

G: “Virtue: I am a very helpful person. In the context of managing a multi-resource service and team, I think it is critical to be supportive in order to facilitate the resolution of ongoing issues or help mutual collaboration.
